Arts
December 15th, 2008
The arts play a special role in Brooksville, an especially big role.
Pierre Desjardins Easy Street Home Decor hosts an art reception every month and shows the artists work all month.
The City Hall Art Gallery is two floors of fabulous paintings, quilts and sculpture. The Fine Arts Council office is in Brooksville as well… and our Mural Society is, as of this writing, working on a another mural outside of the Antique Sampler Mall building. Just across the street from the Antique Sampler Mall is the cavernous Rising Sun Cafe with a huge display of art inside virtually covering all of its brick walls.
If I’ve missed any (and I have – there are seventeen different shows and galleries in Brooksville) leave a post here and let people know!
