December 4th from 10-7:00 and 5th from 8-2:00, Annual Festival of Trees held at the St Anthony Catholic Church, 20428 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville.
25-30 decorated trees down the hallway by organizations and venders are set-up for your Christmas shopping. Crafts, plants, candies, breads, jewelry and much more. Pictures with Santa and entertainment. Food available. Table rentals available.

December 13th, 10th Annual Historic Tour of Homes in Beautiful downtown Brooksville.
3 Tours 1:00-2:00-3:00, Tickets $12.00.
3 Homes and Brooksville Woman's Clubhouse where Hot Apple Cider and Homemade Cookies are served along with the history of the clubhouse. GFWC Brooksville Woman's Club will be 100 years old next year.

Brooksville Woman's Clubhouse
The Brooksville Woman's Club was organized in 1910. In 1915 they purchased the property at 131 S. Main Street in Brooksville.   Meetings were held in each others homes.  As the club membership increased, they grew and sold sweet potatoes to build the clubhouse which which was built in 1931.  The Brooksville Woman's Club started the first Library in Brooksville in 1918 and Finger Printing, first Christmas Parade and Christmas Fantasy of Trees.  Organizations sprang from the BWC such as the Music Club, the Garden Club, the P.T.A., and the Brownie Group.
