For those with an interest in things Native American Brooksville has a surprising number of resources. This past weekend in February the Talako Indian Dancers performed at the Heritage Day Festival held in Brooksville from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. The Dancing Buffalo Ranch on Wiscon Road held a three day Pow Wow, and in town, on 770 E. Jefferson Street, Brooksville, Fl. 34601 a Native American trading post has opened up run by Mary Kirkconnell. Her site is www.peacetreetrading.com.
