Wow! Hard
to believe that one month ago we were discussing how we would start reaching
out to the less fortunate. For those that are new to this list, we have now
completed 4weeks of serving dinners each Sunday at
WE HAVE
JUST BEGUN!!!!!
We would
like to have a meeting of volunteers before this Sunday’s dinner to discuss
some ideas and logistic changes to insure that we can smoothly handle the ever
increasing needs of the community. Lisa Callea and Eric Kessel have been asked
to lead the meeting and to keep it short and on task.
We served
more than 100 meals this past Sunday, double from the previous week!! We went
from having too much bread to actually running out!!! We have distributed
shoes, clothing and blankets. The word is getting out. What’s next? Where do we
go from here?
We want to
keep the momentum going and insure that each of us has a chance to be part of
this awesome community effort. We need to know what you can do and want to do
in serving our neighbors. We need everyone’s input. We hope to see you promptly
at 3.
